Our French courses for adults aim to put our students at their ease when conversing in French about art, news items, literature – or simply to chat, as one likes to do, about oneself or about the weather. Given the very small number in our groups, this option is just perfect for those who cannot undertake French courses intensively.
We restrict the numbers in classes to 3, specifically to ensure the most propitious conditions in which to learn and practise a language. We have to make sure that all students have ample time and opportunity to express themselves freely.
Time flies by as activities are tiered – new grammatical points are put into immediate practise. Students are introduced to new vocabulary and initiated into current idiomatic expressions – all this in the spirit of convivial camaraderie.
Our DELF and DALF courses are structured on the recommendations of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), a global reference used for active language learning. We prepare our students by working on the four skills required for the DELF and DALF examinations: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
100% of our students choosing to sit the DELF or DALF are successful.
We enrol students throughout the year provided we have available places at their level. If you have learnt French previously a level test will enable us to establish your current level and find the best programme for you.
