Summer Workshops starting 16 July
Elementary and Intermediate Levels
The focus will be mainly on oral French, with a view to affirming and developing existing speaking and listening skills – the groups will be small.
The sessions will be structured around a particular aim, that is to enable the everyday exchanges when in a Francophone country or talking with Francophone people.
Tuesdays 6.30 p.m. – 8.30 p.m.
Wednesdays 6.30 p.m. – 8.30 p.m.
Thursdays 11.30 a.m. – 1.30 p.m.

Anaïs, our Art Historian, will lead the tour which will focus on some of the finest nineteenth-century French and Continental paintings in the museum’s collection. Following the tour everyone will have the opportunity to settle down in the Ashmolean’s Café to discuss (in French, naturally) their impressions of what they have seen.

GCSE/A-Level Summer Workshops starting 23 July 2018
These workshops aim to enable participants to acquire strong and clear grammatical notions in order to sail through forthcoming written examinations.
Tutors will first and foremost look at establishing a solid acquisition of the essential points required for the GCSE and A-Level examinations in French in all 4 skills, before enlarging their focus to working on syntactic and idiomatic structures aswell as thematic vocabulary.
